How can you get involved?

This campaign has always been about folks organizing for change, not from the top down, but from the grassroots up. There are many ways for you to volunteer and now as we enter the final, most important stage...

Knock on doors

Going door-to-door is the most important thing you can do for Barack. It is the best way to reach out to undecided voters and remind first time or other unlikely voters to get out to vote. a

Make Calls - from home or at a field office

We’ll be making calls every day until the polls close on November 4th! Help us make calls to recruit additional voluntees, talk to undecided voters, and remind people where their polling locations are. a

Donate food and meals

We have a growing community of volunteers - Bringing in a homemade meal or snack keeps allows volunteers to keep making phone calls and knocking on doors. a

Help in your local field office

Your local field office needs you! All our conversations with voters needs to be recorded and entered into our database. Help enter data (if you have a laptop please bring it!) a

Host an out-of-state volunteer.

We’ll have a growing number of out-of-state volunteers who come to Virginia as the election approaches. If you have a spare bed or couch and can host an Obama volunteer for a couple days please sign up! a
Every door knocked, every phone call made, and every conversation with an undecided voter is crucial.

 

    

 

  • Feel free to drop in at your local Campaign for Change Office, they will all be very happy to have for the day or just a few hours. Daily canvassing, phone banking and organizing is always happening!

 

  • As a full-time GOTV volunteer, you will recieve training and spend the last 4 or last 7 days of the campaign working in a key area of Virginia.
  • We will arrange accomodation and transport for GOTV volunteers.
