Help Barack in Ohio

Now is the moment. Our strategy in Ohio depends on you, volunteers, to come join us before and on Election Day to help to turn out voters. Thousands of people have worked to get Barack Obama this far, but thousands more must join us for the win.

It’s still not too late to change the course of history. Together, we must out-organize the Republicans on this one most important day. Join Barack Obama on November 4 and the weekend before as well. We can’t do it without you.

As an out-of-state volunteer, you will play a vital role by committing to spend two months, two weeks or even a long weekend here.

We are looking for help with canvassing, events, data entry and other key activities. Staff will help you find the place in the state where your work will go the farthest.

Housing:
Supporter housing is limited, so all housing assignments will be made on a first-come, first-served basis. We are working on discounted hotel rates and will provide details as they become available.

Please let us know if you would like to be placed in supporter housing.

Transportation:
Unfortunately, we cannot provide transportation to, from, or within the state. We can, however, try to coordinate carpools with other out-of-state volunteers. Having a car will be crucial, especially when asked to canvass precincts. If you have a vehicle and are willing to carpool, it will help to know how many people you can fit.
