RSVP for the IDEA Convention

Join the Campaign for the Change at the 128th annual Indiana Democratic Editorial Association. It's a great opportunity to meet elected officials and local candidates, and learn how you can help Democrats up and down the ticket. All events are free and open to the public.

Campaign for Change Training
Saturday, August 2nd
1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

at the

Indiana Democratic Editorial Association Convention
Thursday, July 31st -- Saturday, August 2nd
French Lick Resort and Casino
French Lick, IN

Training will be split into three breakout groups:

Organizing Strategy:
Hear about the best practices of organizing from campaign field staffers. They’ll teach you about building Hoosier Teams, recruiting and retaining new volunteers, and setting targeted goals for persuasion, registration, and GOTV. They’ll reflect on what worked – and what didn’t work – in the Primary, and how the Campaign for Change will approach volunteer strategy in the General Election.

Constituency:
Learn how to mobilize and activate a local constituency for Barack Obama. The Campaign for Change Political staff will discuss how to incorporate field strategy, campaign message, and specific metrics into your constituency outreach programs. They will also review effective action items to help you track progress and measure success.

New Media:
See the latest innovations in Online Organizing being deployed by the Campaign for Change. Learn how to use the new Neighbor to Neighbor utility, and spend some hands-on time trying this new technology out for yourself.
