Tell Republicans in the Senate to take action on jobs
The President's jobs plan is based on bipartisan proposals that everyone ought to be in favor of.
But it won't pass unless Republicans in the Senate stop their obstruction—and that's where you come in. If you have a Republican senator, call them and ask them to give each piece of the American Jobs Act a fair vote.
You can call the congressional switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and ask to speak to your senator.
Once you're done, take a moment to let us know how it went.
Hello, my name is __________ and I'm a voter calling from __________ (your city or town).
I'm a voter who supports the American Jobs Act, and I'm asking my representative to back it, too.
Will you support the American Jobs Act?
(Allow them to respond)
Any member of Congress who backs these policies to get Americans back to work will have my thanks.
