Dear friends & family,

Greetings from Chicago!  As many of you know, I have relocated here to continue this campaign cycle working on the women's vote with Barack Obama.  I am excited to be part of this historic campaign to beat John McCain – and I am loving Chicago.

I just returned from the Convention in Denver where I was awed by both Hillary Clinton's grace and stature and by Barack Obama's strength and leadership.  Both reminded me that at stake in this election is the future for women and families in communities across this country, and whether our elected leadership is going to stand up for them or continue with the same failed policies.  One thing I love about my job is that I am in a position to give people tools to help with campaign.  I typically do not raise money, but given the stakes, I do not want to leave any stone unturned or wake up on November 5th wishing I had done more.

So, I've set up a personal fundraising page and a goal for my Women for Obama campaign, which you can see in the thermometer to the right.
