Barack Obama is committed to changing the political process by building a campaign founded on a broad base of support from ordinary Americans -- lots of little donations, rather than a couple of large donations from a few special interests.

I've set my own personal fundraising goal for the campaign, which you can see in the thermometer waaaay to the right.

Okay, we hit that first $500 goal in less than two days, so I raised it a whole (binary) order of magnitude, and we blew past that, no problem.  Now we're in the home run, and the GOP is $20 million ahead of us.
