For the first time in a long time, with regard to politics in this country, I have hope.  I am giddy with it, overwhelmed and overjoyed with the changes I see taking place in our country, and with the prospect of an America like the one that exists in my heart.

Barack Obama is the key to that change.  His passion and committment to improvement in areas like health care and education, his belief in the power of individuals from all walks of life working together toward our common goals... it's nothing short of inspiring. 

And it's exactly what I've been hoping and waiting for in a politican.
