The Will of the People

The AP has reported (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/03/26/clinton-donors-object-to-_n_93552.html) that 20 Democrat "bigwigs" have written to Speaker Pelosi in protest, seeking to overturn the will of the voters if necessary to give Senator Clinton the Democratic nomination.  According to the article, it is estimated that these 20 people that feel that our democracy is for sale have contributed an estimated $315,000 to Clinton's campaign.

The statement to the Super Delegates should be made clear - Do not allow your morality to be compromised by a few when the many are watching.  By outraising these twenty individuals we will take away their last bit of "power" over our party.

Let's support Democracy by donating to Obama's campaign now.  Let's show how quickly we will outearn these 20 individuals trying to hijack our elections.

Let's support Speaker Pelosi in her decision to not back down from her statement that the will of the people should be reinforced by those entrusted with the title of Super Delegate.  For each contribution made here, I will send a notice to Nancy Pelosi's office that we are here and listening and cheering on those that are brave enough to fight for what is right for our country.  (http://www.house.gov/pelosi/contact/contact.html)
