Make the Peace Pledge! Barack Obama committed to changing the political process by building a campaign founded on a broad base of support from ordinary Americans. Like me. (Well, ordinary is not something I usually call myself!) But his campaign is about putting the people's interests ahead of special interests with big bucks. I believe Obama and Biden have the right idea about how to make this country work. They are committed to investing in education, fixing our broken healthcare system, creating economic justice, and making good choices about defense. All of these things are strategies for building peace. Obama and Biden understand how peace must be built into the fabric of our society in order to win the wars we are fighting on so many fronts.
