I still believe in the power of imagination.   I also believe in connecting that imagination with hard work. So I work for peace and community and health.  Just like many of you do. So we work for peace.  So maybe I am preaching to the choir when I share the words of Gil Scott Heron wrote and sang,

Nobody can do everything,
but everybody can do something,
everyone must play a part,
everyone got to go to work, Work for Peace.
If you believe the things you say, go to work.
If you believe in Peace, time to go to work.
Cant be wavin your head no more, go to work.

What is startling is that nearly half of this country is in support of McCain/Palin who are proposing to build bridge to nowhere.   I believe that we need to prevent that bridge from being built and instead build a bridge to our imagined future,  It is only when we combined our imagination with action that we will cause change to happen.
