Why do I support Obama? 

I would certainly support most any reasonable alternative to the disasterous Bush administration's policies, but my support for Barack Obama goes well beyond the "lesser of two evils" argument you might have heard in past elections.

Beyond the issues most Democrats and progressives support: Universal Health Care, Access to Education, and Economic Opportunity for the Working Class, Obama's campaign is working hard to change the way Washington works. I have long believed that Ethics reform, government transparency, voter participation, and campaign finance reform are the key elements of building a stronger American democracy. In both words and action the Obama campaign has proven it's commitment to meaningful change in Washington.
