There's Still Time to Believe

It's hard to know who will make a great or average president, unless you personally know the person and truly understand their motives.  So what do you do?  Become cynical about the process, become so entrenched in it you become part of the problem yourself?

I've decided to have Hope about America's future, a great country founded on secular inclusive ideals, a strong funded public education for all, with tolerance and diversity for all immigrants.  I choose to think that there is still time to believe that we can solve our problems, reduce corruption and remove the influence monied coporate interests have over the entrenched Washington crowd.

Could I be wrong?  Maybe.  But I know this;  Barack Obama gives hope to the younger generation that I don't believe has existed since John Kennedy inspired people into service that bettered our country, and the world.

I've talked to serving Veterans, non-evangelical Republicans, and even a fair number of retirees, and they all tell me they want the current administration out, and changes in Washington.
