Barack Obama and I are committed to changing the political process by creating a campaign built on a broad base of support from ordinary Americans.  Obama represents a new kind of politics, one formed from the willingness of regular Americans to be the change they wish to see in the world and bring about a new era of inspiration and the American dream.

Why am I donating so much of my time and money in support of this presidential candidate?  I support Barack Obama because of his perfect environmental record and his comprehensive environmental plan for action, especially his commitment to treating global climate change as a top priority. I support Barack Obama because he did not endorse the war in Iraq from its start and because he has a smart plan for withdrawal. I support Barack Obama because his campaign does not accept money from registered lobbyists. I support Barack Obama because I feel his message is the message we as Americans should embrace and his image is the image we should broadcast to the world. And I support Barack Obama because he is exactly the president this country has needed for a long time.

I am proud to represent Senator Obama on behalf of Delta County and it's fifth precinct at the Colorado democratic convention on May 16th and 17th in Colorado Springs.  Please help to ensure that I am supporting the person who will represent the entire party as we take back the White House in 2008!
