Ok amigos, es en serio y en español!
Como inmigrante siento que estamos en el momento de un ahora o nunca para participar en el futuro del país que hemos escogido como casa.
Como profesional no quiero seguir justificando nuestra contribución y participación.
Viendo como se maneja la política actual, y más sobre el tema de inmigrantes e inmigración (podría nombrar muchos más, pero prefiero comenzar por lo que tengo más cerca) siento que si las cosas siguen como están, vamos a terminar con muros mucho más altos y más ilógicos del que tienen pensado en la frontera.
Así que por algún lado tengo que comenzar. Y voy a hacerlo, ya sé, por hacerles pensar que estoy loco al meterme en este tema y de esta manera. Pero bueno, si no ahora ¿cuándo?
De verdad no es broma
Si algo comparto con Barack Obama es en tratar de cambiar aunque sea un poco de algo, y este algo es muy fácil darse cuenta que va mal. ¡O participamos o el último que apague la luz!
La mayoría de ustedes son mis colegas. Otros amigos suficientes como para esperar que si alguien se metería en esto, sería yo. Así que si están de acuerdo que ahora es cuando puede cambiar algo, pues comiencen conmigo, y por aquí. Yo al menos pondré la cara si de alguien hay que reírse luego.
La única manera que tengo de ver si esto funciona es ésta. Si ven otra, acepto sugerencias.
En esta página pueden ver la meta que me he fijado. Aquí ya tienen tema de conversación si la quieren revisar de vez en cuando. Pero ya que me atrevo a tomar este paso, de verdad sólo espero que sirva para algo.

As an immigrant I feel we got to the point of "now or never" to participate in the future of the country we’ve choose as home, and as a professional, to stop justifying our contribution and participation.
Looking at the way things are being treated in issues like immigration, for example, I think that if we don’t become actives in something, we’ll end up with taller walls than the one they are thinking on building on the border.
That’s why I’m starting from here. I know, from a place that will make you think I’m crazy by getting in this place and on this way. But well, if not now, when?
Not a joke.
If a share something with Barack Obama is the ideal of changing something that is obviously not working.
Some of you are my colleagues, some friends enough to expect this from me. So, if you feel somehow like me but haven’t taken any step yet, well, start with me. At least you will have somebody to laugh at if this doesn’t turn the way they convince me.
So far, the only way to probe that this will work is this one. If you see another one, I accept suggestions.
