Obama IT: We're Wired Up, He's Ready To Go

Friends and family members,

As you may know, I have begun working full time for Obama For America, the presidential campaign of US Senator Barack Obama. I firmly believe in the platform our campaign has put forward, and Barack Obama's plan to put our country back on course from the disastrous policies of the last 8 years. I refuse to be cynical about our politics, and have been inspired not only by our candidate's words, but also by his work as our Senator here in Illinois, and the broader work of the revitalized and fired up Democratic party rallying behind him.

I am humbled by and thankful to those of you who have donated through my portal. We were able to reach our first goal, so now it's time to raise the difficulty bar to 'Elite'. I will continue to update this page with my personal thoughts on the campaign as I pull them together. In the meantime I encourage the rest of you to create sites of your own or pass along my URL to other people in our network of friends and family.

The fight continues in earnest and now that the conventions are behind us the race is uncomfortably closer than ever. The current administration and their chosen candidates, for all their transparent lies and incompetence in governance, is still an incredibly savvy and well run political operation and this weeks polls prove this. Make no mistake, in spite of our confidence and well placed faith in our candidate and the awe inspiring campaign we have all waged, this race is far from a forgone conclusion for us.
