I live in Texas and the first time i heard Senator Obama was during a debate and knew i wanted to learn more about his message and thoughts on the issue's. He intrigued me and that was not an easy thing to do as i being 33 years old have never voted before and thought my voice didnt matter. Mr.Obama has made me feel as though my voice does matter and my presence on this planet is cherished, to me this was the turning point for me and I watched more,got involved,came to this site,donated,heard him speak in Dallas and knew at that moment that "He is Me" and so when the speech in Dallas was over i went home checked out where my early voting center was and Voted for the first time and voted for Barack Obama. I have seen the music videos "Yes We Can" and "We are the One's" aswell as watching and caring more about this election and other people around the world than i ever had before..He makes me feel like getting involved in volunteering and donating to causes. I feel empowered to help change this world and for that I thank him greatly and will continue to show my support for him and will vote for him in the General election aswell, because i feel that a Vote for Obama is a Vote for me..
