The non-believers predicated that Senator Obama “could not.”  A different group of non-believers predicated that a little boy would never speak and both were wrong in their predications.  The little boy spoke his first word at 4 years and 7 months.  He is now 19 years old and his name is Talib.  He falls into one of Obama’s strongest supportive core groups, 18-30 something.  Talib, will not have the option to cast his vote for the first time in this historical election.  He is Autistic and something as simple as voting can create a major challenge for some who suffer from this neurological disorder.  Talib’s name means seeker and true to his name, he continues to seek out ways to overcome the many challenges of Autism.  In keeping with Obama’s belief, “yes we can,” let’s continue to support Obama, by helping Talib participate in what will be one of the most historical presidential elections of our time.
