I'm an OBAMA mama!!

Barack Obama and Joe Biden are committed to changing the political process by building a campaign built on a broad base of support from ordinary Americans. 

 I particulary support the  OBAMA - BIDEN  plans

• for education  (pre-school to college)
• for people with disabilities (especially his plan for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders)
• to withdraw troops and carefully work toward peace in  Iraq.

WE WILL  NEED  "ALL HANDS ON DECK"   If you can't donate, please help to register new voters in your area!!   We can win THIS!!!, but it's going to take a massive amount of effort.  

I have always followed politics.  I get it honest.  Back in the day, my father, Oliver, the police detective, read two newspapers daily, (sometimes three).  My mother was an elementary school teacher.  I thought everybody had a set of World Book encyclopedias at home and discussed current events around the dinner table.    

I have never donated to a poliitcal campaign before.  Barack Obama's campaign for President of the United States has inspired me to give.  I don't have a lot to spare, but small amounts from lots of people have helped to support this campaign.  I've set my own personal fundraising goal for the campaign, which you can see in the thermometer to the right.  I have already made donations  to  the campaign prior to getting the nerve up to ask others like you. 

Oh how I wish my parents were alive to see this day!   I can just picture my daddy surfing the internet!  He would have enjoyed investigating Barack's issues and commenting on the blog.   And my mother?  Wilma Jean would have developed lesson plans for her 4th graders.  I am certain that she would have found a way to incorporate the Obama "State of the Race" map into a homework assignment.
