Welcome to my Pennies for Obama Fundraiser ... Stay a while and relax a bit. Sometimes it's good to take a moment to leave the blog and clear your head. Donate if you'd like, but that is not required. Remember to take breaks from the blog. It will do you good. Have a soda or something, listen to some music, and when you feel refreshed take a slow walk back to the blog. It'll still be there, and all your Obamanite friends will be waiting for you there 24/7. 

With that said:

Like you folks, my wife Mary, myself James, and our daughter Laurie are passionate supporters of Barack Obama. This year my wife, our daughter, and I have given it our all for Barack. This is certainly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. We have raided our humble nest-egg substantially. Not doing so would be unthinkable for us. A man like Barack comes around ever so rarely. He is offering himself to our country to serve for eight years as our president. We have just this one chance to acccept his offer of service. I think we need take him up on it. GOBAMA

Each of us has donated the $2,300 primary legal limit, totaling $6,900.00

We have donated an additional $6,900.00 for Barack's use in the general election.

My 82 year old Obamacan aunt has donated $4,600.00.00 ... Go Figure!

Even my beloved grand uncle Thorvald has donated $3,059.00 ... Simply Amazing! 

So, that's it. We cannot legally donate one cent more to Barack. Ah, but we can fundraise and do much more ... and we will. GOBAMA 

(Although our daughter is just seventeen, she's had a part-time job for two years while going to school. She works full shifts on weekends. Our daughter is my hero!)

Anyhow, right now we are all rather tapped-out. However, I did start this personal fundraising page on February 16th. We have matched a good number of people requesting a match, and have made many pledged donations that have inspired many new donors to give to this campaign.

I know that so very many of you have given very generously already. Nonetheless, I ask and HOPE that some of you will donate a little something to our Pennies For Obama fundraiser.
