In light of the "anniversary" of the Iraq invasion and Barack's opposition from the very beginning, my motivation is this: My son turned four at the end of February. When I began protesting against this war weeks before the eve of "shock and awe", I wasn't even pregnant yet. My son's entire existence on this planet has been in the midst of this war that was, and continues to be, grossly unjust.

We need to reclaim our country and our future. I honestly believe our only chance at this moment in time is Barack Obama. We simply cannot afford NOT to stand together for what is right, what is just and against what is just plain wrong.

I will personally match dollar for dollar the first $100 raised and I will match $.50 on the dollar for the next $100 raised. If we surpass that goal, I will check my finances and see what else I can afford :)

Please donate at whatever level you can afford: $3.01, $5, $10, $15, $25 - ANY donation amount will make a difference.

For any of you who watched Barack's victory speech in South Carolina on January  26th, you know this movement is REAL. As he said:

"There are those who will continue to tell us that we can't do this, that we can't have what we're looking for, that we can't have what we want, that we're peddling false hopes. But here is what I know. I know that when people say we can't overcome all the big money and influence in Washington, I think of that elderly woman who sent me a contribution the other day, an envelope that had a money order for $3.01 along with a verse of scripture tucked inside the envelope. So don't tell us change isn't possible. That woman knows change is possible."

Will you join us? Can you help us keep this movement alive? Times are tough and we're all feeling the crunch but I challenge you to contribute and match, double or triple this woman's donation of $3.01:
