Barack's 47 Years of Experience

Barack in State Senate, age 36-43

Hi--

My goal is to raise $100 for every year of BHO's 47 Years of Experience.  Contrary to the suggestion that Barack materialized in 2002 and gave a speech without accumulating any life experience before or after this event, Barack has been alive and accumulating experience longer than JFK and Teddy Roosevelt had when they became president.  Bill Clinton was also 47 when he became president, although Barack would be 2 weeks younger than him.  

Thanks to everyone who helped me get to $1000 by May 6th so that Barack got to see his dad :)

Thanks again to bo.com friends and my family for getting Barack into his teenage years ($1300) by the end of the primaries.  Special thanks to Meri who nudged Barack to his 15th birthday on July 2; to Maureen, Tia, RJ, and Richard who responded to my hustling on 15 July and got Barack to Sweet Sixteen; to Desert Dove Dan who got him  over the line to Seventeen; to Kelly and Janet, who catapulted him to 19;  to Bertram who boosted Barack into his 20s, and to Keith who got Barack to 23, when he began his work as a community organizer, and to Sara who boosted Barack to 27 so he can start his studies at Harvard Law, and to my Mom, Marcia, who singlehandedly got Barack through Harvard and to the publication of Dreams From My Father, and to Gary & Betty who got Barack elected to the Illinois State Senate.   You are all terrific :)

Less than 8 years and $800 to go to reach my goal....
