Barack Obama and I are committed to changing the political process by building a campaign built on a broad base of support from ordinary Americans. No more DC insiders poisoning the political process and transforming supposed Democrats into ineffectual ne'er-do-wells.

I've set my own personal fundraising goal for the campaign, which you can see in the thermometer to the right.

Will you make a donation to help me reach my goal? Please. Really. I like Obama, and I never like politicians. I'm afraid that, yet again, the Democrats are going to send out another bland, poll-driven candidate into the general election, only to watch her go down in flames. Afterwards, they'll blame Nader or something. 

Don't get me wrong. If Sen. Clinton wins the nomination, I will vote for her this November. But I won't be able to support her with the energy and enthusiasm I would an Obama candidacy.
