Ready To Go! (Unite for Change)
Friends, Please join us to meet and greet other Obama activists in SouthEast King County. Something incredible is happening in our country, come be a part of it! This will be a very informal gathering, a chance to meet other Obama supporters, including a number of local candidates. It is also a chance to tell your story, why you are involved and what would you like to do over the next few months to help take our country back. This is neither a work party nor a fundraiser (don’t worry, there will plenty of those later!) This is just a chance to learn more about the campaign and meet some terrific people, and perhaps see some old friends. Since the event is scheduled at lunch time, we will turn it into a barbeque. We will provide hamburgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs and all the fixings. If you are so inclined, other picnic type foods would be welcome: potato salad, watermelon or other fruit, chips, veggies and of course sweets. If you would like to make an Obama button of your own design, we will have our button maker available. You can bring an appropriate image (2.25" round) or just an idea and design and print here and then make your button. Please let me know if you can join us.
