walk and talk on the american river parkway - (previously "table at local business") (Pledge Project Canvass)
i have about 5 people signed up so far. here is a link to some of the info we will be using (see the "before" tab for download links to 1) the pledge project pledge (form) and 2) fliers for education, health care, and energy.
also under that same tab is a training video. i am asking everyone to view the video in advance so that we can get started right away.

unfortunately, neither raleys now emigh hardware agreed to allow us to use their location. so, we will focus our work along the american river parkway trail. we may not get to talk to many cyclists, but their should be some walkers that would be more willing to listen to our pitch than a hurried shopper anyway. also, it is a great place to be on a saturday afternoon anyway! lets meet at the parkway building on the right just inside the park gate at the end of arden way. parking is available along one side of arden way and along mcclaren drive also.
the weather is forecast to be 65 degrees with a chance of light rain so dress accordingly! if we do get rained out we will go inside the mall at watt and el camino and hope we dont get thrown out!
my cell is 916-308-8408 please take it with you!
previous description of this event: i am thinking of setting up a table at either the raleys at walnut and fairoaks or the emeigh hardware at watt and el camino on saturday
