BMP Neighbor to Neighbor (Phone Bank)
Get off your a** and on the phone with the Burbank Martini Party phone bank. We will be using "Neighbor to Neighbor" to target voters in our area, or wherever Obama needs us. If you've never done this before, or are scared talking to strangers (because your Mama raised you well), don't fear because we will show you what to do. It's easy and you will feel great knowing you're making a difference, really doing something to help. VERY IMPORTANT - Bring your cell phone and wall charger. If you have a wireless laptop please bring it too, with charger. It will save a lot of time at the end. We will call for three or four hours then get the party started! Possibly watch the new Michael Moore movie. More Texas BBQ (I think the ribs were a hit last time) will be served at the end of the calling session, along with the martinis (not conducive to good phone banking sadly). This will be another sides pot luck so bring something to eat please. If you can only spare an hour or two please still come and get involved, you can make a difference. As our name implies we drink martinis (got a new Blue State martini, guess what color it is) and encourage a rowdy, though serious, discussion before and after. Come and get involved in the campaign. Stop yelling at the TV and do something. It's guaranteed to be a fun evening (guarantee void in red states).
