NYC-Philadelphia Primary Trips
We're so excited to head down to Philly to help Obama win Pennsylvania! If you haven't already signed up to come with us from April 18th through April 20th or 23rd, it's not too late! We still have a few seats left on the bus and have extended the Paypal sign up deadline until tomorrow morning!
Bus pick up/drop off schedule is as follows:
Bus pick up 4/18: Grand Central, NYC - at 8:00pm
Bus drop off: Holiday Inn Express
Bus pick up 4/20: Holiday Inn Express - at 8:00pm
Bus drop off: Grand Central, NYC
Bus pick up 4/23: Holiday Inn Express - at Noon
Bus drop off: Grand Central, NYC
Make sure when you sign up, you are clear which trip you will be participating in.
Volunteering
While in Philadelphia, most of your volunteer work will be canvassing, going door-to-door and meeting the voters. For those of you who've done this before, you know the drill. If this is your first time, good news, there's no experience necessary! All you need is your enthusiasm and your walking shoes. Sometimes there will be other opportunities to help out such as making some calls, making signs, running errands, or helping out with a rally. If you are done with your walk-lists, don't hesitate to ask if there's another way you can help out at your field office or staging location.
How to Sign Up
To sign up for these trips, there are three things you need to do:
1. Make a payment of $20 for your transportation.

If you don't have a paypal account, you can still go to www.paypal.com and use a credit card to make your payment. Simply click Send Money and use the form to send your payment to the email address: abishop@badgerandpartners.com
This payment will help defray the cost of your bus trip to and from Philadelphia. Please indicate on the "note" portion of the payment which trip you are taking: Primary Trip (April 18-23) or Weekend Trip (April 18-20) AND INCLUDE A NUMBER WE CAN CONTACT YOU WITH.
2. Reserve your room.
We have rooms set aside at the Holiday Inn Express in Midtown Philly. They are $99 per night. You can call 1-800-HOLIDAY and ask for the Obama for America block. There are many other hotels in the area, if you'd prefer to stay elsewhere. Here's a link to the list of hotels nearby:

If you would like to share your room to defray the cost and you don't already have friends on this trip who'd be willing to stay with you, please let me know and I will put you on the room-share list. I will be putting 4 people in each room for those on the room share list.
3. Email me!
Once you have paid your $20 trip fee and made your room reservation, please let me know. I want to make sure everyone has a place to stay and a spot on the bus, so this last step is important in ensuring that we keep track of open spots. My email address is: sanderson@newyorkobama.com
