Gresham Office GRAND OPENING! (Organizing)
Hello East Multnomah County Obama Supporters!!
It is with great pleasure and excitement that I bring you this news. Obama for America will be opening its newest field office in Gresham!!
Our hope is that, with your help, we will not only be a strong and positive presence in the East Multnomah County area, but we will create a network of support that will help bring the change we need in Washington…that being said, we have a lot of work to do, so let us get started on the right foot.
Here are the details of the Grand Opening!
• Date: Saturday-4/26
• Details: 10:00am Coffee and treats and a brief organizational meeting and training
11am-4pm Neighborhood Canvassing to register new voters and let them know the Obama campaign is here
5pm-8pm Potluck dinner
• Location: 1665 NE Division, Gresham, OR 97030
(In the Hood Shopping Center near Safeway & Busters BBQ at Division & Burnside)
Now, before all this can happen, we need a functional office! This means supplies…everything from toilet paper to printers; pens to desks & tables; cleaning supplies to extension cords. Remember, we’ll all be spending a lot of time in there, so let’s make it as comfortable and functional as possible.
We hope you can join us for the canvass. This is how you will let East Multnomah County know that their community is one that wants to see honesty and integrity back in the White House. This is your community, so reach out to your neighbors, register new voters, and inspire supporters to volunteer in the weeks and months ahead.
Lastly, we would like to thank all of you for the support that you have already shown. It is so exciting to know that, with this new office, we will make huge steps into bringing about the change we’ve longed for these past seven years.
