Buttons for Obama (Organizing)
Stop by to help make Obama '08 buttons! We have already made over 30,000 buttons, which includes the following primary state outreach efforts: 10,000 buttons to Pennsylvania, 3,500 to Montana, 1,700 to Oregon, 4,000 to West Virginia, 1,000 to South Dakota, and 4,500 to Puerto Rico, among others.
Now that we have gotten through the Primary season, we will be making buttons to assist at voter registration events, and special events like Pride. It's easy and fun, and all are welcome; feel free to stop by for as long or as short a time as you want.
This event is part of our regular series of button-making events. We will be meeting alternating Wednesday and Thursday nights, so if you can't make this evening, hopefully you can make another night!
We will also have buttons for sale; we are requesting $1 donation per button. 100% of proceeds go straight back into buying more buttons to assist in upcoming outreach efforts. Feel free to stop by to buy a button, even if you can't help us make them!
