Coffee and Obama (Organizing)
My neighbor Sherri Hosseini and I came to the realization that a large number of people don't really know much about the details of Obama's policies on various important issues such as the economy, healthcare, education etc., making them susceptible to misinformation by the media or opposing parties.
So, we are setting out to change that.
With "Coffee and Obama", Sherri and I are hoping to organize a series of events in a book club like format with the objective of educating ourselves and our neighbors, friends and relatives on these important topics. We will start with a brief presentation followed by a discussion over coffee.
(maybe someday, Obama himself will stop by :-) )
