Mexican Independence Day Celebration - Minneapolis (Organizing)
The Annual Mexican Independence Day celebration typically draws more than 20,000 visitors, and is a fun filled day of culture, music, food, fun - and organizing! We will meet at 10:30 near Bloomington and Lake St. in South Minneapolis for the parade, we will be marching with the dfl, so look for the signs, or call my cell and i'll direct you in. The continues all day with passing out fliers, answering questions, signing up volunteers, and chatting with people about why we support Obama. Come when you can and stay as long as you like. Spanish is helpful, but certainly not necessary.
