ODCSV First General Meeting (Meeting)
Less than a week to go before our first meeting, and we're anxious to get started! We have so many fights to look forward to in 2009 that we may soon rediscover the fire that burned so bright for us during the elections of 2008. Remember, it's up to us. We got what we wanted. Now, we must hold our government to a higher standard!
Discussion topics will include but not be limited to:
o What is ODCSV?
o ODCSV and Obama for America 2.0
o ODCSV and the Democratic Party
o National Day of Service events, Jan. 17-19
o Silicon Valley Inaugural festivities, Jan. 20
o Special election to recall Councilmember Madison Nguyen, March 3

So many things have happened in the year since Iowa that it's all a bit blurry, but one thing is certain: Barack Obama will take the oath of office to become the next POTUS on January 20th. We need to be ready to take up the call when it comes.
