Milwaukee's newest liberal-minded social group offers something not found at Drinking Liberally -- food! And as often as we can get it, food that was locally grown. Imagine the good conversations you've had at Drinking Liberally, suffused with the sights and smells of some of our favorite local eateries. *** Our next get-together will be on Wednesday, October 1 at Beans & Barley, 1901 E. North Avenue on Milwaukee's upper east side. *** **** Eating Liberally meets on the FIRST Wednesday of each month (D.L. meets an hour later on the third Wednesday). *** See you there!

Get to North Avenue one way or another... take it east from I-43, or come up the Hoan Bridge via Lincoln Memorial to Water Tower Road to North Ave. Beans & Barley is just east of Oakland Avenue, but west of Farwell. While there is no discount for bike or bus riders, it is conveniently located just off the Oak Leaf Trail! |
