Hampton Roads Veterans and Military for Obama Family Potluck BBQ (Meeting)
Family Potluck BBQ for Hampton Roads Veterans & Military Families for Obama at Mount Trashmore, Sunday, August 3, at 3:00 PM! Help us kick off our local Veterans & Military Families for Obama efforts! Congressional Candidate Glenn Nye and Delegate Joe Bouchard will be attending! This is a Thank You to those who have made it possible for us to vote and stand for our beliefs. It will be a great way to organize, register voters, and provide a forum for us to discuss why we believe in Senator Obama as the candidate that will best serve our troops interests. Bring the kids and side dish or dessert! Please make sure your sign-up reflects the number of people coming with you so we can plan accordingly. We will be in Picnic area 2 on the lake side (Edwin Drive). The area is wheelchair accessible but it is a bit far from parking accessible by a well paved path. We still need a table for serving (long) and a large (non-commercial) grill, please call or email if you can help! If you are not military, but want to help with food,set-up/clean-up, grilling, or the other things listed above, please let me know. If you sign up but will not be able to attend please call me!
