Huge Oahu Rally- Obama Convention Speech (Convention Watch Party)
Participate in History. Why just observe it from the couch? On August 28th, 1963, Martin Luther King delivered his "I have a dream speech". On August 28th, 2008, Barack will deliver on the dream, and shatter a barrier in Denver. Where were you in 1963? Where will you be on August 28th, 2008?
Come share this bit of history with your local Ohana and participate in this great moment. This will be the largest gathering on the island (we have room for 300) and we will have a time delayed recording to replay.
Meet local Obama organizers and learn how you can help Barack and local candidates get into office and move this revolution forward!
Refreshments will be served, and free Obama speech dvds will be given out- first come basis. Hosted by the Democratic Party of Hawaii, (East Oahu). Independents and Obama Republicans are especially welcome.
