BARACK OBAMA, THE U.S. LONE STAR (March 31 Kickoff Event)
Hello, Fellow Americans and Friends,
Following the idea of launching a community kick-off event in favor of supporting US Senator BArack Obama for President in 2008, Americans, Friends have got together to hold a kick-off Barbecue this Saturday 31st 2007 at a friend's house in Texas: Mr. Kale Kasonga at 7418, Marsland Ln, Arlington TX 76001; Starting at 1pm
During this House-Event, we will be :
1. Reviewing and brainstorming strategies (locally and nationally) to put in place efficient ways of reaching out to communities of New Americans Voters for Obama in TX and elsewhere... ( Newly registred voters, Unregistered US Citizens, US-Naturalized Africans: e.g. those originally from Kenya and the DR Congo who live in the DFW area; the Latinos, Asians and many other citizens that NEVER voted before)
2. Watching the Web-Cast "Live" of the Community House Kick-Off organized at the same time with US Senator Barack Obama from a House-Event in IOWA at 3 PM CST (Central Standard Time)
3. Getting attendees to sign up to existing BarackObama.com, Online groups, such as "AFRICANS AND AMERICANS FOR OBAMA", "GROUP ADMINISTRATORS FOR OBAMA" and "UMASS-BOSTON CLASS OF 2006 FOR OBAMA" in order to be connected to other friends, to the 08' News, to schedules of organized-events, to donate to the Obama 08' website, in order to bridge efforts and put Sen. Obama in the White House in 2008.
