Mending Our Flag (Fundraising)

On October 11th, we will come together to mend an enormous American flag that will be spread out over the lawn in Prospect Park. There will be food, music, and a huge game of flashlight tag when it gets dark. If you are interested in doing some sewing, please let us know. Otherwise, we hope you will sponsor someone by donating to the Obama campaign. Let's mend this country together!
We will also have a pre-mending get-together:
Meet us in Union Square this Friday night (October 10th) at 8pm, where we'll be holding the large American Flag, and talking to people about Barack Obama and America. At 8:30 we'll depart with the flag, and make a small parade towards Brooklyn Bridge Park, where we'll use the flag as a venue for a benefit concert.
