I-5 Sign Waving (Organizing)
For this Obama visibility event, we'll be waving to commuters on i-5 from the 45th street bridge EVERY MONDAY. (Between Wallingford and the U-District) This is a great spot - we had dozens of people out there doing this in 2004. We could make it a regular event if there's enough support. BRING YOUR OWN SIGNS! - Obama/Biden printed stuff - or Gregoire, etc. You should also wear your Obama bling: t-shirts, hats, buttons, stickers, etc. - you can reach quite a lot of people at this intersection. Especially during rush hour. Just show up and start - no need to wait for the Organizer. Bring friends! If you have another spot that works for this, please create an event and invite friends!
