Asian American and South Asian Outreach in Philly (Drive for Change: Destination Pennsylvania)
This is it. The last weekend before election day. We are looking for volunteers who will help us to get out the vote during this very important weekend. So please join us as we canvass many of the Asian American communities in Philly, and surronding neighborhoods. While language skills are a plus, it is in NO WAY REQUIRED! All that is needed is YOU and your energy to get Sen. Obama and Sen. Biden elected. Please RSVP and email Theresa Thanjan at t_thanjan@yahoo.com with the following information: (1) your email address (2) do you have a car or are willing to drive a rental car? 3) We can also arrange housing if you want to stay overnight, please let us know if would like to do a day trip, stay overnight or could stay four days and help through election day.
