Join us for a one-hour house meeting on Economic Recovery. We will...
1. MEET and greet and enjoy some light refreshments
2. WATCH a 10-minute video outlining Pres. Obama's recovery plan and answering questions about what it means for our community
3. DISCUSS the plan/video, raise questions, share personal impact of the economic crisis
4. PLAN for local engagement/action
We have room for 16 in our humble little home. RSVP is required so we don't overflow and have to turn people away.
Children are welcome with prior notice and will be encouraged to play in a separate play room (we have a toddler ourselves).
The event will be non-smoking.
Our goal is to commit our attention to the expressed subject matter and participate in a very real way with our government on an unprecedented level with an openly bi-partisan perspective. Please kindly check your donkeys and elephants at the door.
