Hoboken Inauguration Happy Hour!!!! (Meeting)
Dear friends in hope,
Thank you! In three weeks, the hope for our country, the next president of the United States, Senator Barack Obama will be sworn in--and you're part of it! So, THANK YOU!
And now, we should celebrate! A local bar Carpe Diem has generously opened their upstairs for us. For those that aren't heading down to DC, we should all watch the speech together as the Hoboken Hopemongers that we are! We'll have coverage of the festivities playing, as well as we'll watch Barack's swearing in & subsequent speech, at least once. We would love for you to join us!
$30 cash pays for the Open Bar for three hours. There will also be light refreshments. Limited space, so definitely RSVP legitimately & soon!
And, in the spirit of grassroots organizing & community outreach, please bring sturdy paper plates, napkins, cups or plastic forks & knives to donate to the local shelter.
