Giving from the Heart, Obama in the Heart, Peoria, IL (Community Service)
Please join my family and me as we look for people in need in downtown Peoria.
We will meet at the Peoria courthouse at 8:15 am on Sun., Feb.1st. This is an ongoing event, occurring every Sun. morning until further notice!
Please bring any of the following to hand out to anyone on the streets:
peanut butter and jelly sandwiches (pbj keeps longer and doesn't require refrigeration),
bottled water or other beverage in a can or box,
any individually wrapped, non-perishable food item,
clothing,
blankets,
hats, gloves, socks
OR anything else that you can think of that an homeless person would need!
