Twist and Shout Some More!!! (Fundraising)
I never get tired of writing checks to the Obama campaign. Wish I could write bigger ones, and more of them. But I can organize and host fundraisers and ask other Obama supporters to turn out, socialize, eat, drink, and be merry. And, oh. Bring your checkbook, k?
Twist is such a cool venue for these fundraisers. Twist has a great selection of drinks and affordable happy hour eats (including a macaroni and cheese dish with crab that's to die for if you like that kind of thing), and even a giant, rotating disco pig over the back bar, where our event will be held.
As always, checks made payable to the Obama for America campaign since I can't take cash. Mark your calendars folks. I'll see you there!
