Bus Trip from New London, CT and New Haven, CT to the 2009 Inauguration Parade in Washington, DC (Community Service)
Inauguration Parade Bus Trip from New London and New Haven, CT. Departure at 12:05 AM Tuesday, January 20, 2009 from New London Shopping Center (near Burlington). Pick up in New Haven will be at 12:45 am, at Long Wharf Parking lot. Cost is $100.00 round trip per person to Washington, DC.
The bus will drop you off at the New Carrlton, Meto Station, and you will take the Metro Train to the Inauguration Parade. Please include an additional $10.00 for your one day metro pass if you need the pass. Metro Passes will be purchased in advance for attendees on the bus trip. The bus will leave New Carrlton Metro Station at 6 pm on January 20, 2008 and return to New Haven and New London. The price for the bus trip does not include tickets to the Swearing in Ceremony. Tickets for the Swearing in Ceremony must be secured from your Congressman or Senator. The Inauguration Parade does not require tickets.
