Obama Inauguration Bus Pilgrimage (Community Service)
Join us in a Luxury Chartered Bus Departing San Francisco, Ca on Jan. 15 traveling to Washington, DC for the historic Inauguration of President Obama. We have been offered housing in DC by several Obama supporters at varying rates as a group and depending on the total in the group, accomodations should be about 125-300 per person for the entire stay in Washington. We should arrive in DC on the 19th (18th is possible) and have settled into our accomodations in time to relax and rest in anticipation of the various inaugural events. Our best offered accomodations is only blocks from the White House and very close to the parade route on Pennsylvania Avenue. This is strictly a "no-frills" journey, we will be on the bus with only necessary refuelling and rest stops, we will be sharing our food and good times and it should be like the good old days of the civil rights movement. We are on a journey! A historical journey of hope and possibilities and we want to extend this to those who didn't think they would be able to make this trip of a lifetime. Be a witness and participant of history. Help us celebrate and commit to the change within us all. Costs for this trip per person are 400.00. A 200.00 NON-REFUNDABLE (ONLY IF THE CHARTER IS CANCELLED BECAUSE WE DID NOT GET THE MINIMUM NUMBER OF PILGRIMS TO GUARANTEE THER BUS) is met. The Balance of 200.00 is Due Upon Entering The Bus.
