West Valley for Change - National Day of Service Event (Community Service)
Here is an opportunity for WV4C to come together and celebrate the memory of Martin Luther King and join in President Barack Obama's call for a National Day of Service. We are partnering with Warmth for the Homeless for this National Day of Service event.
We are sending out this call for clean warm sweaters and jackets, single/twin bed linens, especially blankets, clothes suitable for interviews, and clothes for children.
Dig into your closets for these items and contact friends and neighbors for additional donations. Please pack donations in large garbage bags for transport to this worthy destination/cause.
