Ideas on what to write:
• Write from the heart what you feel, you may not be for the war as most of us are but we want them to know we appreciate them and hope they will be home very soon and safely
• Ideas for beginning your message: "Dear Serviceperson," "Dear US Protector," "Hello from ... (Your Town or State)." Tell them about yourself, too.
• If you include your name and address, often you will hear back.
• Keep the messages positive. Teachers please edit cards and letters from your students.

After the general election I know you have all asked "What do we do now?"
Here is a very important start, join us on Saturday January 17 as we send cards to our brave Soldiers Overseas
We will start at 10:00 am until 1:00 pm or until we have completed writing up all the cards, Donations are welcome to compensate for the purchasing of the cards and if there is a particular treat you enjoy, please also bring that along and bring a friend.
