Inaugural Work Party at West Woodstock Prairie (Community Service)
In celebration of the Inauguration theme "Restore America's Promise," The Land Conservancy of McHenry County will be holding a Community Service Event at our newest preserve to help restore this amazing prairie ecosystem!
We'll have lots of carbs to snack on and something warm to drink for the volunteers who join us cutting and stacking brush. If the weather permits, we'll get a bonfire going! We'll have pizza and beer for lunch - someplace warm!!
For those who cannot be in Washington DC, this is a great opportunity to participate in the spirit of the Campaign. Plus, it's MLK Jr Day - a great day to show that individuals really can make a difference!
