Olympians, Protect Your Waterfront! (Community Service)
It's time to get involved in your community! The city of Olympia is preparing to re-zone the area by Heritage Park in order to put in high-rises. These high-rises will ruin the waterfront view, the view of the Capitol from the water and downtown access to the port and to the lake. The city council meeting will be held on June, 24th at 6:30 pm, but if you can't attend you could still put up a sign, wear a sticker, talk to your neighbors, call your council members or write to The Olympian. http://www.friendsofthewaterfront.org
