Coordinated Collin County Blockwalking - Multi precincts (Canvass)
This is it!!! Time to turn Collin County Blue. More than ever, this blockwalking is going to make or break us. Republicans think they have Collin County in the bag and Obama voters think their vote won't count. We need to make sure the latter group knows otherwise. Join in this mega-blockwalking event with local candidates, Obama Collin County, the DPCC and TDWCC. Come out to the staging area below. Depending on the # of RSVPs, we will pick how many precincts we can cover and give you instructions upon your arrival. 6:45 - 9am - Drop & Walk - Just put doorhangers on identified "friendly" doors. 9am - 1pm - knock & talk - remind "friendly" homes to come out and vote for Obama and all our local candidates. What to bring: - wear sneakers or other comfortable shoes - bring a bottle of water - bring a knap sack or back pack to carry materials - bring a pen to record voter information Most important, bring your winning spirit. We can do it Collin County! Further instructions will be sent to RSVPs by Friday morning.

It is the northwest corner of McDermott and 75. We will be using the parking lot nearest the service road, underneath the large Stacy Furniture billboard. We received permission from the manager. The location is about a 5 minutes drive to the precincts. In addition, there are plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. After the BW, you can see what Allen has to offer, including the Shops at Watters Creek at 75 & Bethany. |
