Capital Pride Parade (Pride Event (Official))
The Capital Pride grows larger every year, and is estimated to attract over 200,000 people this year.
The Capital Pride Parade, will be held Saturday evening (kickoff at 6:30pm) and is the biggest annual event in the Dupont Circle neighborhood.
Obama Pride-MetroDC invites you to march our contingent in the parade, and needs your help distributing rally signs and stickers to all other parade contingents. Our goal for the parade is visibility. We will have Obama Pride T-shirts for sale, in the event you do not already own one.
This is an amazingly fun event, with a tremendously supportive community. You don't have to be part of the LGBT community to help. Some of our best canvassers come from other communities and movements. All are welcome!
